Villa Meliti is situated in Kerameikos, near the former industrial area of Gazi in Athens. The villa is a duplex with an indoor swimming pool on the ground floor which makes the interior layout quite intriguing. Architecturally, it merges traditional elements with industrial details and it is on that mingling that we based the interior design of the space.

On the ground floor a sofa was designed that unfolds around the central pillar and consists of modules which can be reassembled in multiple ways, to serve different activities (relaxing by the fireplace or next to the swimming pool, gathering around the coffee table etc.). On the first floor a more rustic approach for the dinning and sitting area was applied, combining the space with materials and objects that highlight the industrial character of the neighborhood and the house itself.
